Welcome to MERIKERTI, a small company situated in the most beautiful place in Iceland – Vestmannaeyjar. Small island located on south coast of Iceland, home to the biggest puffin’s colony, beluga whale sanctuary and hundreds of sheeps.
My name is Lucy and I bought this company in 2014, when it used to be just a candle manufacture. Since then I started to grow it and work on it. Nowadays I specialize in handmade products from high quality Icelandic wool, fur and leather.
I have now about 11 products but I’m still working on new products. So if your museum, gallery, sanctuary have some main animal or figure don’t be shy to contact me.
Most of my stuff come like that. They are all made from Icelandic wool, fur and leather. Not only I’m buying it from local producers, but we are also trying to minimalize planet damage by using leftovers from leather companies.
